Branch & Fruit — Private Chef

We believe the table is one of the most powerful places in a household. Branch & Fruit brings clean, seasonal cooking directly to your kitchen — removing the daily effort so what's left is simply the pleasure of eating well.

"The meals we eat each day directly shape how we experience life — our energy, our focus, the way we move through the world."

Our philosophy
Hands gathering a fresh bundle of garden herbs and flowering sage

Food prepared simply, from ingredients at their peak, is among the most nourishing things you can give a household.

At Branch & Fruit, we build every menu around what the season is actually offering — not what's available year-round in a warehouse. We source close to home, prepare each dish with as few steps as necessary, and let the ingredient do the work. The result is food that supports energy, focus, and long-term health not because it follows a diet plan, but because it was grown well and cooked with care.

Our approach draws from farm-to-table traditions, whole-food nutrition, and the kind of cooking we encountered traveling through Southern Europe — food that is deeply tied to season and place. We believe that removing the daily burden of planning, shopping, and cooking is one of the most meaningful things we can do for a household.

Every dish starts the same way it always has — with attention, and with hands that know the ingredient before the recipe.

Cooking with the seasons to nourish the way people live, work, and think.

My culinary path began working in a White House dining style catering program, moving from server to manager to hospitality instructor over the years that followed. From twelve-person dinners to fundraisers serving hundreds of guests, those rooms shaped a deep respect for the craft of feeding people well.

Traveling through Italy and Spain later introduced me to a different way of eating, one organized around what was fresh, local, and connected to the season rather than what was simply available. That experience stayed with me through culinary school, where I was introduced to the farm-to-table philosophy at the same time I began changing how I cooked and ate at home. The shift was noticeable: greater energy, clearer thinking, and a different relationship to food altogether.

Growing up with both Southern and West African food traditions, I've always understood that the table is more than a place to eat. Branch & Fruit is built on that understanding, that the daily act of nourishing a household is one of the most meaningful things you can do for it.
